Costs for JDA Services in 2007

FULL MEMBERSHIP

NEW BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP

To be eligible for this category of membership your company must comprise no more than two people and must have been in business for no more than two years. Existing JDA members setting up new businesses are not eligible for this category. New Business Members have no voting rights and cannot use the JDA logo on their stationery until they are paying the full subscription.

N.B. New Business Members are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR DISCOUNTS AT TRADE FAIRS except for January's Scotland's International Trade Fair and October's Highland Trade Fair.

OVERSEAS MEMBERSHIP

All overseas companies wishing to join the JDA pay a basic membership fee of £217.00

N.B. Overseas Members are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR DISCOUNTS AT TRADE FAIRS OR FOR DTI ASSISTANCE AT OVERSEAS FAIRS. They have no voting rights and cannot use the JDA logo on their stationery.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Retail companies wishing to join the JDA as associate members.

N.B. Associate Members are NOT ELIGIBLE FOR DISCOUNTS AT TRADE FAIRS OR FOR DTI ASSISTANCE AT OVERSEAS FAIRS. They have no voting rights and cannot use the JDA logo on their stationery.

REGISTRATION FEE

To cover administrative costs all companies joining the JDA pay an initial registration fee of £10.00 + VAT.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

The JDA is a member of the British Jewellery & Giftware Federation Ltd. Other trade bodies within this organisation from which members may affiliate to the JDA are: Art Metalware Manufacturers' Association, British Jewellers' Association, British Luggage and Leathergoods Association, The Giftware Association and The Surface Engineering Association.

The cost of affiliation is £90.00 + VAT per Association.

EXPORT REGISTER

Membership of the Export Register is open to any member on payment of a supplementary annual subscription for 2007 of £150.00 + VAT.

WEB LISTING

The basic entry of Name, Telephone Number & Fax Number is free to all members.

The extended entry of Address, Contact, Email and Web Addresses including a 100 word description of the members business activities costs £25.00 + VAT p.a.
Adding an image to your extended entry costs £25.00 + VAT p.a. There ia £5.00 + VAT charge for each time an image is uploaded

Links from The Products Directory, Brandnames Directory & Trade Fairs Directories cost £2.00 + VAT p.a.

Situations Vacant entries cost £50.00 + VAT per month.

BRITISH JEWELLERY GIFTWARE AND LEATHERGOODS BENEVOLENT SOCIETY.

There will be a voluntary donation of £27.50 shown on your invoice in aid of the above Society. The Society helps to look after those who are no longer in the industry tor reasons of ill health, infirmity or old age. You may rest assured that, in this case, charity really does begin at home!
